We use no tracking cookies
AIGratis sets no advertising cookies, no third-party analytics cookies, and no tracking pixels. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no ad networks.
This site sets exactly one cookie for ordinary visitors, and it holds a random number that keeps the like button honest — not a tracker, not advertising, and never shared with anyone. Because a cookie like that is required for the feature to work at all, this site still shows no cookie consent banner.
What we actually store in your browser
This site uses localStorage — local storage in your own browser — to remember display preferences:
| Key | Contents | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
iag-currency | USD or IDR | Display currency for prices |
iag-theme | dark, light, or system | Light or dark theme |
iag-admin-sidebar | 0 or 1 | Admin panel sidebar state |
All three stay on your device and are never sent to our servers. They hold display choices, not personal data.
The like button cookie
| Cookie | Contents | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
iag_vid | A signed random number | Stops one browser from liking the same thing repeatedly | 1 year |
It is set when you open a page, before you press anything. It holds a random number generated by the server and carries no name, no address, and no record of the pages you opened — we cannot tell who you are from it, and we do not use it to measure visits.
The reason is simple: the "most liked" ranking on the home page only means something if one person contributes one vote. With no marker on the browser side, one person could press the same button a thousand times and the ranking would be fiction.
Deleting this cookie breaks nothing. Likes you gave stop being recognised as yours — the heart empties, and you can vote again.
Admin session cookie
The admin panel uses one session cookie (iag_session) to keep the operator signed in. It appears only after someone successfully signs in as an admin, and is never set for ordinary visitors.
Removing them
Everything above can be cleared through your browser settings — usually under "Clear site data". Clearing it only resets the display to defaults; no functionality is lost.
Third-party sites
When you click a link to a gateway, the destination site may set its own cookies. That is outside our control and governed by their policies.
